China's largest dehydrated vegetable production area has not received an order due to the European debt crisis

Affected by the European debt crisis, China's largest dehydrated vegetable production base, Inner Mongolia Hetao dehydrated vegetables, has been hard to sell, and Bayannur City's 10,000 tons of dehydrated food has not yet received an export order.

The reporter of Mingxing Food Company, the largest exporter of Dehydrated Vegetables in Bayannaoer City, Inner Mongolia, saw that only a dozen workers in the 5,000-square-meter production workshop were selecting vegetables, and all six production lines had been discontinued.

Bayannur is currently the largest dehydrated vegetable production base in China. Last year, the city exported more than 80,000 mu of red and white pepper dehydrated vegetables, creating more than three billion yuan for farmers in Hetao. However, in November last year, affected by the international and domestic markets, Bayannur began to sell 16,000 tons of dehydrated green and red peppers.

In recent years, Bayannur's dehydrated vegetables have all depended on exports. In the past, the production of green and red peppers was the best in the local economy. In the face of this year’s severe export situation, relevant departments reminded farmers that they should not blindly plant green and red peppers this spring.
